Hotel

The dynamic and brilliant setting of the Catalan capital is reflected in The Moods Catedral in that you get the experience of having these warm accommodations nearby. From the attention shown from our staff to the comfort of our rooms and common areas, all hostel settings have a distinct Barcelona flare along with the Mediterranean character of its people.

What welcomes the guest upon arrival is a peculiarity of this hotel. Here in the Gothic neighbourhood is a Catalan vault ceiling dominating the reception area with white tiles and the clean lines of beige-toned furniture. The textile flooring in earth tones together with the minimalism of the furnishings combines to perfection with white walls not devoid of vegetation and a ubiquitous presence of wood. The final touch of comfort is added by easy chairs made of fabric, offering a place to rest or to have a drink.

This designer décor abounds with winks to the earth that are repeated throughout each and every one of the spaces. Pure colours, basic elements and simple geometrics are recurrent in the common areas of this hotel bordering on the Gothic and Born neighbourhoods.

Throughout the day in this common area you will find our free water, coffee and tea service as well as a salon where you can flip through any one of our fashion magazines, have a drink, work on your computer or simply rest after a day of touring the city.

Much the same, our 17 bright and tranquil rooms have been designed in a contemporaneous style, where exclusivity is not at odds with simplicity.

At The Moods Catedral we will take you away to the very heart of the Mediterranean.
